About the Author:

Kellene Bishop is the Director of Training for Preparedness Pro and a Personal Emergency Preparedness Consultant. In the spirit of ultimate emergency preparedness, she is also the owner of Women of Caliber and specializes in training women physical and firearm self-defense skills. She is a certified Concealed Firearm Permit instructor for the state of Utah and is the highest certified female NRA Instructor in the Western States. She’s frequently featured on NRA News Radio as a guest expert as well as a guest speaker/educator for countless emergency preparedness education events. She’s been teaching firearms self-defense and emergency preparedness classes for nearly 10 years.

Kellene was the editor-in-chief of Monetary Intelligence magazine, is a ghost writer on matters of commercial finance, and is contracted as a copywriter for marketing of businesses all over the U.S. She was recently the recipient of an award acknowledging her as one of the top three marketers in the WORLD and has frequently been called upon to teach street smart skills for marketing of today’s entrepreneurs.

As an experienced professional writer, Kellene is the author of Preparedness Pro’s daily updated blog, www.preparednesspro.com as well as www.womenofcaliber.wordpress.com. She also writes passionately on matters of the U.S. Constitution and our great nation.

On the lighter side of things, she loves to cook, skeet shoot, read non-fiction books, and just plain BE with her husband. Her guilty pleasures are playing with her two dogs, scrapbooking, and spoiling her nieces and nephews—along with a little bit of chocolate.
